Here at the entrance to the Dolomites, biking is almost a must for us locals. But what is also close to my heart is the ART of hospitality. It is my purpose in life and something our guests enjoy.

There is unity and a division of labour in our house. That's how we discovered our shared passion for motorcycling years ago. Today, our biker guests benefit from this double "counselling power".

A hotel without biker guests is unimaginable for us. Here at the Schönauer Hof, everything revolves around bikes. Together with our tour guides, we offer guided tours of all levels of difficulty in a variety that is unrivalled anywhere else.

I'm Willi, your host at the Jägerhof in Zams. As a passionate biker and certified tour guide, I take you on tours through the Tyrolean border triangle - including insider tips, garage & wellness to relax afterwards.

Whether it's the Erzberg or the "Romaniacs", my territory is "off road". Instead, my wife Melanie is "on the road", travelling alone and with guests. So it's no surprise that we both got to know each other while riding our motorbikes. A joy shared is a joy doubled.

With a ring moped, a cruiser and an adventure bike in the garage, I've been bitten by the bike bug. And I love to share this with my guests!

As a good host, I have to be cruel to my guests from time to time. Especially when we set off for the Großglockner at the crack of dawn to experience an unforgettable sunrise. Afterwards, however, I am regularly forgiven.

Anyone who grows up at a petrol station directly on the Silvretta Pass road is literally brought up to be a motorcyclist! You meet countless role models almost every day. Today I welcome the role models from back then to our hotel. And the metaphor "petrol in my blood" has already been overused by my schoolmates because of my home.

I like to call our Bavarian Foresta jungle of bends - because you almost can't see the forest for all the bends. And when there's a cold beer and a good meal, the biker day is perfect!

As we all know, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. So it comes as no surprise that Karin Vötter was born with a passion for motorbikes. After all, her father Helmut has collected around 200 classic cars in his museum. "That at least explains my fondness for motorised vehicles, no matter how many wheels are attached to them. The main thing is that there is something to accelerate," says Karin with a laugh. There is simply a lot of horsepower in the VÖTTER DNA ..

Willi & Willi Senior - 2 for the price of 1! With us, bikers benefit from the experience of a double pack, both in terms of tour planning and tour advice. Many of our guests originally came to the Arlberg to ski and are now discovering Vorarlberg and its neighbouring countries on their motorbikes.

For Roland Schneeweiss, MoHo host since 2022, motorcycling is nothing more or less than a way of life. Fraternity, fun and togetherness take centre stage for him. An attitude that the motorbike-enthusiastic hotel manager of the Schneeweiss inn shares with many of his regular guests.

My passion for motorbikes has been with me since I was a child. Today, it is my greatest pleasure to share this dream with our guests - on the most beautiful roads in Trentino.

MoHo host Toni Überbacher has handed over the reins of the active motorbike hotel to his two sons Tobias and Simon - but he still holds the motorbike expertise firmly in his hands.

For me, riding a motorbike is like yoga on the road - relaxing, honest and enjoyable. My favourite thing is a leisurely tour through Chiemgau or over the Kaiser to Tyrol - followed by a good beer at the post office!

With missionary zeal, I am able to convince more and more bikers that extensive orgies of bends do not necessarily need high mountain peaks. The density of bend labyrinths here on the Mühlviertler Alm is unrivalled.

Christine was already a founding member of MoHo. Today, as then, she is obviously responsible for the female quota in our group. When it comes to bikes, however, she prefers to use real men's mopeds. But certainly not on the "Yamaha Midnight Star", which Josef has been cruising alongside her for a few years now.

I have been riding motorbikes for over 20 years and have been running a "biker-friendly" hotel since 2009. As an enthusiastic motorbike and Vespa rider, it is my hobby to explain the best tours to my guests.

Despite having our own fleet of vehicles, our focus is not on the equipment, but on the feeling of life on two wheels.

Motorised two-wheelers have always played a role since my youth. The biggest, however, was when I met my wife Sandra on one of the many motorbike trips to Italy! Now we welcome our biker guests together.

I, Maria, am more of a pleasure rider, while Davide loves the mountain passes. Together we have shared our passion for motorcycling for 25 years - and pass it on to our guests every day.

Even though a knee injury has forced me to ride the passes in the Dolomites and around Lake Garda on four wheels, I am still upholding the two-wheeler tradition in our house! It's not for nothing that my junior Andreas has discovered trial & motocross as his favourite means of transport. My two daughters Karo and Lissy, who run the hotel together with me, also regularly get into the saddle, but primarily on four legs rather than two wheels.

I've been riding motorbikes (legally) since I was 18, but I had my first motorised vehicle at the tender age of five.

The joy of sharing my passion for motorcycling with our guests has motivated me to combine my hobby with my profession. This means that nothing stands in the way of my insider tips for tours here in the Allgäu and in the border triangle.

From a child's bike to the GS Adventure - many crashes, countless kilometres and even more stories later, I know that a good hotel for bikers only needs four things - respect, a warm meal, a soft bed and genuine understanding.

I'm now more of a relaxed biker - that just suits me, at least that's what my friends say. We are also happy to organise a guided tour on request.

Even as a child, I was fascinated by motorbikes, including my father's. Today, I can hardly wait for another ride on the numerous Dolomite passes on our doorstep.

Evil tongues claim that anything with a saddle is fine with us. Only because we have a stable full of horses in addition to the BMW Testride Centre. Although: both have to do with horsepower. However, the younger generation clearly prefers horsepower with 2 wheels.

At home high up in the mountains, right on the Timmelsjoch road and always a trial or other motorbike in the garage. What else is there to do but ride a motorbike? And now that we have a fantastic motorbike museum on our doorstep, there's no choice for guests either :-)

Andi, landlord and MoHo host, loves freedom on two wheels. His tours around the Mariazell region are just as inspiring as his gin and whisky tastings!

Shaped by my early motorbike dreams, I now live my passion for two wheels in the Waldviertel. Our location far away from the well-known, often overcrowded bike areas is often considered an insider tip.

As a chef, biker and host in the smallest motorbike hotel in the Alps, my passion and profession merge. With good food, a family atmosphere and 17 tours around the Hochkönig, I provide real moments of pleasure.

"Forza Italia" is my motto when it comes to motorised two-wheelers. Starting out on a yellow Vespa when I was 14, I now ride my monster Duc on the many Dolomite passes on our doorstep.

As a genuine Carinthian (for real!) and former driving instructor, I naturally know what is good and right for bikers in our country! Of course, mainstream is also part of it, but my personal favourites are off the beaten track and very few people know them. To keep it that way, I only reveal them to our guests on site at the adventure hotel. Really now!

My father passed on his enthusiasm for motorbikes to me. I still remember my first trips as a child, on the pillion seat of his Motoguzzi 500, back then without a helmet and on barely tarmac roads.

If you're a real Zillertaler, your name is Kröll and you can ride a motorbike. At least that's what I say :) We have so many beautiful mountains and countless bends on our doorstep, enough to share with our guests. Which, of course, we love to do.
